The mission of St. Stephen ECD & Preschool, Inc. is to promote
children's development to the best of their potential - in an
appropriate setting to children in an environment for children with a
variety of abilities.
Our Vision is that St. Stephen ECD will
serve as an outstanding model for early childhood education and an
alternative to the public school placement for children within the City
of St. Louis, or surrounding metropolitan areas, especially those
children with asthma or allergies.

Many children
with asthma and allergies are not able to attend regular early childhood development programs due to their risk of life threatening
reactions to certain foods or due to air quality conditions. We offer a
safe and secure place for these children by eliminating both food and
environmental allergens, and offering a multi-filtration air system at
the school premises. We believe this creates a beneficial learning environment for all of our students. By opening the program to all children, we are able to offer a quality education to a broad spectrum of children from
various backgrounds and integrate
all children in a new school atmosphere.
