Building Construction and Classrooms
|
Even before construction began, we had a vision for the new site. With over 4,300 square feet, we are making three classroom areas: the Preschool Room, the ECD Room, and an indoor play room with over 800 square feet of play equipment and safe play area. The play room will be open to the children all day, so even if the weather is not cooperating, we can still move little bodies and burn some energy!
With all new air conditioning and heating, each classroom is individually temperature controlled and the air is circulated three times through filters before entering the classrooms. This not only makes the temperature more consistent, it is cleaner!
New exterior doors are all fire-code compliant and have windows for us to see you! Also, the Dedication Lobby has observation glass to look in to each classroom, so you can watch your child while they are in class. Each classroom also has an abundance of windows to make sure the sun shines in whenever possible.
AND NEW IN JUNE 2009 - the outdoor play area is finished! Fenced by a six foot wood privacy fence, we now have plenty of room to ride bikes and play outside. Thanks to the Boy Scouts who donated two large picnic tables for snacks and activities as well!
